Hit of inspiration, I duno. I might elaborate on this one line, but this sort of popped into my head. I think I might try a "teach-'em-how-to-shoot" one-shot, as I have been dying to write one for like a year. Just need to get back into the swing of things, I haven't written anything original in like...5 months. Ouch.

I've never fired a gun before, but I'd say it'd be a lot harder than it looks.
I've fired a hunting riffle a few times (target practice). It's heavy, it's loud and it kicks enough to give a bruise (at least to my delicate shoulder) but I've also tried my cousins competition hand gun and that's a totally different thing. Something you could accidentally kill yourself with, the touch is that light.
ReplyDeleteOn that note, guns creep me out, big time. If I was going trailing after the Winchester boys I would wear body armor. Kevlar maybe.
I think they'll both be terrified they'll shoot themselves in the foot.
